ALRAA ensures uninterrupted
live streaming with Ant Media Server solution

With Ten Twenty One’s support, ALRAA transitioned from Azure Media Services to Ant Media Server — ensuring continuous public access to its sessions.

The Assembleia Legislativa da Região Autónoma dos Açores (ALRAA), an entity of Portugal’s public sector, provides live streams of its official meetings to ensure transparency and public engagement. In 2024, the announcement of Azure Media Services decommissioning posed a serious challenge: finding a reliable alternative before the service shutdown on August 31st.

ALRAA needed more than just a technical replacement — it required a smooth transition that wouldn’t disrupt public access or the internal workflows supporting it.

Ten Twenty One partnered with ALRAA to evaluate the existing environment and design a replacement solution tailored to its needs. Ant Media Server was selected and deployed, with full configuration, integration into ALRAA’s platform, rigorous testing, and knowledge transfer to the organization’s team.

The transition was seamless. ALRAA continues to live stream its meetings without interruption — now backed by a modern and scalable architecture that ensures long-term service continuity and adaptability.
